Role of a Christian Pastoral Counseling

Christian counselors support individuals not only through their psychological challenges but also in their spiritual journey, promoting overall well-being in a faith-based context.

Christian Counseling Available

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained pastoral counselor in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Individual counseling is a personal opportunity to receive support and experience growth during challenging times in one’s life. It can help one deal with many personal topics such as anxiety, depression, anger, substance abuse, trauma, marriage and relationship challenges, parenting problems, career changes, and school difficulties.

Marriage Counseling

Over time, every couple experience ups and downs in their marriage. This can range anywhere from concerns of a stagnant marriage to serious aggressive behaviors. Marriage counseling can help resolve conflicts and heal wounds. Overall, marriage counseling can help couples from their downward spiral and re-establish realistic expectations and goals.

Family Counseling

Family counseling is often sought due to a life change or stress that negatively affects one or every area of a family such as closeness, communication, or family structure rules and roles. Sometimes it’s best to see an entire family together for several sessions in order to address concerns about parenting issues, sibling conflict, loss of a family member, a new addition to the family, dealing with a major move, or an illness that has affected the family system.

Role of a Christian Life Coach

Christian life coach integrates faith and practical strategies to help individuals achieve their personal and spiritual goals, providing a supportive and encouraging environment grounded in Christian values.

Support Groups Available

Stress Eating Support Group

Stress eating is called emotional eating. It is typically referred to as overeating due to feelings of stress or negative emotions—it is not in response to actually being hungry. You may have had a rough day at work and decided to watch a movie while eating from a half carton of ice cream. You told yourself that you would only eat four spoonsful, but as time went on, you noticed that you ate the entire carton. If stress contributes to your emotional eating, this group will be good for you. This group will teach you how to gain control over emotional eating and give you tools to help with your stress.

Parents with Stress Support Group

Are you a stressed-out parent who needs parenting tools? It can be stressful raising children, especially if you’re a single parent. There are times when parents just need a break from their children. The day-to-day hustle and bustle of the responsibilities in the home can be a bit too much. This group will teach you how to set healthy boundaries and the importance of self-care.

Christians in Recovery Support Group

If you find yourself dealing with stress by turning to alcohol or drugs, this support group is the perfect place for you. Here, you can learn effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, healthier ways to cope with stress, and share your experiences with others who can help ease your emotional burdens. You will also learn how to set healthy boundaries and gain empowerment over your situation. Moreover, you will learn how to communicate your feelings in a way that can help you avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Burnt Out Christian Support Group

Are you experiencing ministry burnout? Are you tired of spiritual warfare and just need a break? This group will teach you the importance of setting healthy boundaries, why rest is needed, and how to release your frustrations.
