Houses are designed to help Christians who are burnt out and need a place to rest, refresh, and regain strength. Our homes give you a retreat vibe with a therapeutic approach. These homes provide you with tools to equip you on how to handle stressful situations before returning to your destinations.
You will have the opportunity to rest, relax, refresh, reset, and recover; to escape and take a moment to pause from stressful activities. A chance to breathe and cease from worries; to regain strength and a peace of mind. In your time of rest, you can incorporate a relaxing massage, stroll down the walking trail, or setting by the tranquil water.
As you relax, explore the various therapeutic activities:
How often do you look inward to become more familiar with your inner self? You will have the opportunity to process who you are, your values and beliefs, and why you behave the way you do. Self-reflection allows you to do a personal analysis, to bring your life into alignment with the will of God.
You will have the opportunity to talk to a trained Christian pastoral counselor who can offer you individual, marriage, or family support and spiritual guidance. The counselor will listen and approach your issues from a spiritual and psychological perspective. The counselor will help you to process life changes and decisions with prayer. The counselor will also help you to develop strategies to cope with daily challenges before returning home.
We provide several support groups where individuals with shared experiences meet up to provide each other with encouragement and comfort. They offer words of affirmation that provide hope and strength to one another. The coaches leading these groups will also teach stress management skills that can help you understand how to deal with stressful day-to-day challenges.
You will have the opportunity to receive prayer, which gives hope and strength. God will take that which is broken and put it together again and make it better than it was before. He will take the shattered pieces of one’s life, glue them together with His love, and make them strong in the places where they were once weak.
